Deputies: Employees robbed at gunpoint while cleaning Orlando restaurant

Orange County deputies offer reward for information

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County deputies are searching for two men accused of robbing employees who were cleaning a restaurant last month.

Deputies said the victims were cleaning Arepas El Cacao on West Town Center Boulevard just after 1 a.m. June 29 when the men entered through the back of the restaurant and held them at gunpoint while demanding money.

The Sheriff's Office said the men were believed to be Hispanic and in their 20s. The men, who were 5 feet 6 inches tall and had thin builds, were last seen wearing black bandannas over part of their faces, black sunglasses and black pants, deputies said. One of the men was wearing a gray hoodie and the other was wearing a black hoodie and black gloves, the Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies said they were believed to be in a white SUV that could possibly be a Cadillac.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS and could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000, deputies said.
