Authorities rescue 13 ducklings from Orange County drain

ORLANDO, Fla. – A mama duck finally got some relief after authorities rescued her ducklings from an Orange County drain Sunday afternoon.

The mother duck was in a panic when 13 of her ducklings were stuck in a storm drain outside Bed, Bath and Beyond near the Florida Mall.

Orange County Fire Rescue crews, Orange County Animal Services personnel and Florida Highway Patrol troopers showed up around 1 p.m. and worked together to safely remove the ducklings.

News 6 was there as the baby ducks were removed.
