Deputies seek armed, masked men who robbed KFC

Manager pistol-whipped during incident

Deputies say these men robbed a KFC in unincorporated Winter Park.

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies are looking for three men who robbed a KFC in unincorporated Winter Park, pistol-whipped the manager and then crashed their vehicle while fleeing the scene, according to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.

A composite sketch and surveillance photos have been released of the men wanted in the armed robbery. Two of the three men had their faces covered during the incident.

The trio entered the restaurant on 4520 Aloma Ave. at about 3 p.m. Monday and demanded money; at least two of them were armed with handguns, deputies said.

A store manager reportedly sustained minor injuries when one of the men hit her in the face with a gun.

Deputies said the men left the restaurant in a Ford F150 truck and crashed near Branchwood Apartments on Old Howell Branch Road.

After the crash, the men got into a silver passenger vehicle and continued to flee.

Deputies said no arrests have been made in the case.
