Windermere rape suspect scheduled to appear in court

Darryl Patterson, 50, facing charges of sexual battery

ORLANDO, Fla. – The man whom Windermere police have called a possible serial rapist is expected to appear in court Thursday for a hearing. 

Darryl Patterson is accused of sexually battering three different women, including one case of allegedly raping a woman while she was unconscious.

Patterson is currently being held without bond in the Orange County Jail. 

 

He was originally scheduled to stand trial earlier this year, but it was delayed. 

 

Thursday's court hearing is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m.
