ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A reward is being offered to find the person involved in an armed robbery at a Walmart, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.

It happened Friday at the Walmart at 5734 South Orange Blossom Trail.

Authorities said the robber walked into the Walmart, walked around for a few moments and then left the store. He came back into the store moments later and walked to the customer service counter.

The robber handed the cashier a note saying the store was being robbed, authorities said. The cashier took all of the cash out of her register and gave it to the robber.

Authorities said while waiting for the cashier to open the register, the robber lifted his shirt, showing her a firearm.

The robber is described by authorities as a male who is possibly black or Hispanic. He wore a baseball cap and a long-sleeved orange shirt with a light-colored shirt over it, and he concealed his identity by wearing a blue surgical mask.

Authorities said anyone who knows the robber's whereabouts or details of the armed robbery may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Tipsters can call 800-423-8477.
