MOUNT DORA, Fla. – Four masked gunmen robbed a Mount Dora bank on Monday, city officials said.
The robbery was reported at 11:50 a.m. at the BB&T Bank at 909 N. Donnelly St.
According to authorities, four men carrying handguns entered the bank and demanded money.
The men left with an undisclosed amount of cash and got into an SUV with another person and drove away, officials said.
The vehicle was found abandoned a short time later.
Area schools were locked down during a search for the culprits, but the lockdowns were later lifted.
No arrests have been made, and an investigation is continuing.
