Woman facing murder charges after fatal Palm Bay stabbing, police say
Suspect identified as Jackielyn English, 48
PALM BAY, Fla. – A woman is facing second-degree murder charges after a fatal stabbing in Palm Bay Sunday afternoon.
Police said the incident happened at the home of Nicole Rucker, 47, on Monroe Street, adding that Rucker died from her injuries.
Palm Bay police said a second victim, Deloris English, who was identified as the suspect's sister, was injured trying to break up the incident. She was taken to Holmes Regional Hospital.
Police said Jackielyn English, 48, was taken into custody after the stabbing.
It's unclear what led to the stabbing.
Police said Jackielyn English has faced charges in the past of armed trespassing, assault with intent to commit a felony and battery.
