Police find dozens of vases worth $10,000 stolen from Ocala cemetery

Warrnat issued for woman accused of selling vases

OCALA, Fla. – Ocala police say they have recovered 45 bronze vases worth nearly $10,000 that were recently stolen from a cemetery.

According to police, an employee at CMC Recycling told officers that the vases were sold to them for scrap.

Each vase was valued at about $200.

Police said surveillance video showed a woman taking the vases to CMC Recycling on two different days last week.

Detectives identified the woman as Tina Marie Nabbefeld and say there is a warrant for her arrest.

Nabbefeld will face two counts of dealing in stolen property, police said.
