Publix to close Central Florida locations Saturday at 8 p.m.

Florida-based grocery chain helped people prepare for hurricane


Central Florida Publix locations will be closing their doors Saturday at 8 p.m.

The Florida-based grocery store chain has been bringing in extra supplies this week in preparation for Hurricane Irma. 

Officials with the store wrote on its website that store hours will change according to weather conditions.

Publix is also offering an emergency information line for specific details regarding stores and schedules for their associates.
