SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A 49-year-old woman was killed Friday night after she was hit while riding her bicycle in Seminole County, Florida Highway Patrol officials said.
The woman, who has not been identified, was riding east on Lake Drive near Huntridge Way around 11:15 p.m. in front of a Honda driven by a teenage boy, troopers said.

Troopers said she was trying to cross the road when she rode in front of the boy's car and was hit. She was taken to a hospital in Oviedo, where she was pronounced dead, the FHP said.
The Highway Patrol said the crash is still being investigated.
