COLLEGE PARK, Fla. – Two teens were arrested in connection with a burglary in College Park and police said it's possible  they could be responsible for other similar crimes in the area.

Hayden Dre'Kaylo, 19, and Dave Reed, 19, were arrested Tuesday afternoon after an officer spotted them while he was doing surveillance in the area after a string of residential burglaries in the neighborhood during the month of September, the report said.

Orlando Police Department officer Nick Collins noticed a blue Chrysler Pacifica that matched the description and license plate number of the suspect's vehicle in the recent burglaries.

Collins said he watched as Reed, dressed in a gray hoodie, entered a home on Edgewater Court. Reed had been previously identified as a suspect because his fingerprint had been found at one of the crime scenes and he's the son of the registered owner of the Chrysler Pacifica, the report said.

A short time after entering the home, Reed walked out with a small black bag that he hadn't been carrying when he entered, according to the affidavit.

Dre'Kaylo left a nearby gas station where he had parked in the Pacifica and picked Reed up after circling the block one time, authorities said.

The two men drove to the area of Kittredge Drive and Rock Lake Drive, where police believe they intended to commit another burglary. Reed saw an officer in the area and ran, police said.

When officers arrested Reed, he was in possession of a Hyundia key fob that had been stolen from the College Park home, according to the affidavit.

Police said Dre'Kaylo was also arrested in the area.

Both men are charged with burglary of a dwelling and grand theft in the third degree.
