Holy Land Experience hosts free day

Park offers free admission, free parking

ORLANDO, Fla. – Holy Land Experience, a "living Biblical museum" in Orlando, will host its second free day of the year on Wednesday, according to the theme park's website.

Holy Land Experience made the announcement Monday on its website.

Free admission and free parking is offered on a first come, first served basis until the park hits capacity. The park opens at 10 a.m., but in the past visitors have lined up hours in advance.

Free day can also cause traffic problems on Vineland Road near Interstate 4 where the Christian-themed attraction is located.

Admission is usually $50 per adult and $35 for children between 5 and 17 years old. Parking is always free.

The park held a free day in January as well. The park is required to host at least one free day per year to retain its status as a religiously entity exempt from property tax.

Free day can also cause traffic problems on Vineland Road near Interstate 4, where the Christian-themed attraction is located.
