An Illinois man was arrested Saturday after he tried to buy his fast food with drugs, reports local station WIFR.

Darryl Ross, 34, was at the drive-thru window when he tried to hand over four small baggies to the restaurant employee in exchange for his food. Instead of handing Ross his order, the employee alerted a Boone County Sheriff's deputy who happened to be inside the restaurant at the time of the incident.

Ross was detained in the parking lot until police were able to test the baggies. Seven baggies in Ross' possession tested positive for cocaine, while two more tested positive for heroin.

Ross was subsequently arrested on charges of possession with intent to deliver 1-15 grams of cocaine and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
