PORT ORANGE, Fla. – One person is dead after a crash Thursday morning, the Port Orange Police Department said.
Police responded around 11:47 a.m. to the 6800 block of Taylor Road regarding the crash involving one vehicle.

Police said the 18-year-old driver and only occupant of the vehicle died from her injuries at the scene.
Port Orange traffic homicide investigators responded and are actively working the investigation, police said.
