Plane at Orlando Sanford International Airport clips building, officials say

No injuries after plane clips building while backing out from gate

SANFORD, Fla. – No one was hurt when a plane clipped a building while backing away from its gate Saturday, officials with Orlando Sanford International Airport said.

The plane was backing out when its wing clipped the building. Officials said maintenance had to repair a light on the wing.

The plane took off without incident to Belleville, Illinois, officials said.

It's unknown how many people were on board the plane at the time.
