‘Angel Tree' program phone bank opens Tuesday

3,600 angels need your help this holiday season

ORLANDO, Fla. – News 6 will host a Salvation Army Angel Tree phone bank Tuesday to make sure children in Central Florida have gifts for the Christmas holiday.

Each angel represents a child’s wish list from infants through age 14 who might not have a Christmas without donations. There were no forgotten angels in 2015 and 2016.

The program started with 3,600 angels at the beginning of November. We are well on the way to having all of those angels adopted this Christmas.

If you want to get involved and help you can call one of our phone bank representatives at 1-888-436-6665.

The phone bank began at 5 a.m. Tuesday and will continue until 7:30 p.m.
