Missing teenage boy with autism found safe

Volusia County Sheriff's Office tweets update about Dant'e Mitchell

DELTONA, Fla. – The Volusia County Sheriff's Office said Friday morning that a missing teenage boy with autism has been found safe.

Dant'e Mitchell, 17, was reported missing Thursday after last being seen in the area of Saxon Boulevard and Nantucket Street in Deltona.

"Dant'e has been found safe. Thank you!" the Sheriff's Office tweeted.

Details about the boy's recovery have not been released.
