Missing 2-year-old Florida boy found safe

Legend Jones found after tip

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville toddler who disappeared Wednesday afternoon has been found safe, officials said.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office confirmed in a tweet Thursday morning that Legend Jones had been located.

Legend had been the subject of a citywide search since he was picked up from Honey Bears Daycare off Normandy Boulevard by a family friend about 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The child was last seen with Keith Allen Martin, 49, who has known the boy's grandmother for over 30 years.

"Thanks to a tip, missing child Legend Jones has been recovered and appears safe. We have also made contact with Keith Martin and are no longer looking for the vehicle," officials tweeted.
