Military dad surprises son at Orange County school

Deployed father shows up at Timber Springs Middle School

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A long-awaited reunion just in the time for the holidays. An Orange County military father returned home Tuesday and surprised his son at school.

First Sgt. Willie Robinson showed up at Timber Springs Middle School to greet his son, Christopher.

Robinson appeared on the stage during lunch, shocking his son who at first wasn't sure how to react.

Robinson's wife arranged the surprise with the help of teachers and faculty at the school.

The family tells News 6 they are happy to be able to spend the holidays together.

Robinson is currently stationed at Camp Humphreys in South Korea.

He will be home until Jan.4.
