President Trump cancels Orlando visit

Announcement comes day after mass shooting at South Florida school

ORLANDO, Fla. – President Donald Trump will not visit Orlando on Friday as originally planned.

The announcement comes after Trump announced plans to visit a South Florida school where a mass shooting killed at least 17 people on Wednesday.

Trump was scheduled to fly into Orlando and visit Eatonville to discuss infrastructure.

The president on Monday announced a $1.5 trillion plan to fix roads and bridges across the country.

The plan is part of his $4 trillion budget proposal for 2019. The budget also includes $17 billion to fight the opioid epidemic and $23 billion for border security, including a border wall.
