ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Troopers are investigating a crash that left a motorcyclist dead Monday night in Orange County.
Florida Highway Patrol officials said the crash happened on Silver Star Road near Sheringham Road around 9 p.m.

According to a crash report, George Ebersold, 20, of Orlando, was speeding and crashed into a Lexus car as the driver was attempting to make a turn.
Troopers said Ebersold died at the hospital, after being thrown from his motorcycle.
The crash remains under investigation.
