Missing 87-year-old woman found safe in St. Augustine

APOPKA, Fla. – A missing elderly woman from the Apopka area has been found safe, officials said Wednesday.

Peggy Neese, 87, had last been seen at 2:05 p.m. Tuesday in the area of the 800 block of Loch Calder Way in Apopka.

Police issued an alert for Neese, who was later found in St. Augustine.

Details about her recovery have not been released.
