Police investigate shooting on Hubbard Avenue

DeLAND, Fla. – DeLand police are investigating a shooting that happened on West Hubbard Avenue on Sunday night when a 18-year-old male was shot in the leg. 

The shooting happened at 9:12 p.m. in the 1700 block of West Hubbard Avenue, according to police.

The 18-year-old victim was found in the driveway of a home with a single gunshot wound to the leg. Witnesses told police that the victim, identified Monday afternoon as Delvaughn Robinson, was walking with friends when gunshots were fired from an unknown direction.

Police say Robinson was taken to an area hospital as a trauma alert and is in stable condition.
