Apopka police search for men who burglarized, ransacked home

Men accused of stealing safe, jewelry


APOPKA, Fla. – Apopka police are searching for a pair of burglars who broke into a home. 

The break-in happened Thursday at a home in the Maude Helen subdivision. 

Police said the burglars threw a brick at a sliding glass door and ransacked the home.

Officers said the pair stole some jewelry and a safe from the home.

Surveillance pictures show the men walking near the home. Police said they left in a silver, four-door vehicle with tinted windows.

Authorities said they believe the men are linked to other burglaries in Orange County.

Anyone with information is asked to call Apopka police. Crimeline is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Tips can be submitted by calling 800-423-TIPS.
