DeLEON SPRINGS, Fla. – A man was shot to death Tuesday night during a fight at a Valero gas station in DeLeon Springs, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.
The shooting was reported after 7:30 p.m. at 5145 N. Highway 17.
Deputies said a man was stabbed during a fight, and the stabbing victim's brother shot the man who stabbed his brother.
The man who was shot, identified Wednesday as 28-year-old Tony Berriozabal, was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
The shooter, 25-year-old Jesus Romero, remained at the scene, deputies said. His brother was taken to Florida Hospital with non-life-threatening, deputies said.
