ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County sheriff's deputies are trying to identify a man wanted in connection with a road rage stabbing that took place Saturday.

Deputies said the incident happened at 7000 E. Colonial Drive.

Sheriff's officials said they were making a traffic stop on Forsyth Road when the stabbing victim rode up on his motorcycle and said he had just been stabbed. The deputy called for Orange County Fire Rescue paramedics and the victim was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with a chest stab wound, according to the incident report.

The victim told deputies he was stabbed by a white Hispanic mman at the Circle K store on East Colonial Drive after an altercation that began as a road rage incident.

The victim said he first encountered the unknown man and a passenger while riding on Semoran Boulevard and turning onto East Colonial Drive. The blue sedan cut him off, forcing him off the road, according to the report. When the motorcyclist pulled up next to the blue sedan he said he told the driver to "watch out for bikes." The victim told deputies both the driver and passenger responded by signaling him with possible gang signs.

When the victim continued onto Forsyth Road he said the blue car followed him and as he was heading to work he didn't want them to follow him there so he made a U-turn, according to the report.

The victim said he encountered the men in the blue sedan again at the Circle K, where one of them approached him and acted like he was going to hit him, the victims said. The victim smacked away the man's hand, causing his cellphone to fall to the ground. The man demanded $100 for his cracked phone screen and the victim said he gave him $40 to get him to leave him alone. The second man approached the victim as he came out of the store and hit him in the chest with a "sharp vehicle tool," deputies said.

Both men left in the blue sedan heading west on East Colonial Drive, according to the report.

Deputies described the blue, four-door car as possibly a Mitsubishi Lancer hatchback.
