ORLANDO, Fla. – A driver was shot and critically injured Monday in Orlando when a friend's gun was accidentally fired from the back seat, police said.
The shooting happened on Tradeport Drive near Orange Avenue.

Orlando police said officers recived a call at 4:07 a.m. about a gunshot victim who was transferred from Advent Health Hospital in Kissimmee to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
According to police, the victim's friend told police that the victim was sitting in the driver's seat of a vehicle when he was accidentally shot by his friend, who was sitting in the back.
The shooting is under investigation.
