JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police on the campus of the University of North Florida in Jacksonville said no credible threat was found after a report of a "possible armed" person in a parking garage on campus, reports News 6 partner WJXT.
An alert sent to students and faculty told them to leave the area and avoid the garage next to the arena.

The potential armed person was reported at the garage of Building 38, according to WJXT. Officers blocked off access to Building 38 until further notice, WJXT reports.
Classes were also canceled for the day.
