Teen clipped by train in Port St. John

15-year-old taken to hospital in stable condition


PORT ST. JOHN – A 15-year-old was clipped by a train Tuesday nigh in Port St. John, officials said.

The incident happened on the railroad tracks at the Fay Boulevard crossing.

The teen was taken to a hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to Port St. John Fire Rescue. 

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office said Fay Boulevard was closed, but the road and crossing later reopened.
