LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – A 22-year-old Fruitland Park woman was killed Thursday in a Lake County crash, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The fatal crash happened on State Road 19 near Matteson Lane.

The FHP said Dallis Hunter died in the crash and Samantha Monroe, 19, of Grand Island, suffered serious injuries.
Troopers said Monroe was driving a 2003 Ford when she lost control of the car and struck a tree.
Hunter died at the scene, troopers said. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the FHP.
Charges are pending against Monroe, the FHP said.
