LAKE COUNTY, Fla. – A motorcyclist is dead following a crash in Lake County on Sunday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The motorcyclist was involved in a crash with a vehicle on County Road 455 and Cavallo Drive, according to authorities.

Authorities said the driver of the car swerved to the right for unknown reasons and then overcorrected, making the car swerve into the opposite lane, where it struck the motorcycle. Authorities said the driver of the motorcycle was 75-year-old Thomas Valley of Ormond Beach
Valley was pronounced dead on the scene and County Road 455 is blocked in both directions, authorities said.
