WINTER PARK, Fla. – Two men were stabbed Wednesday morning during an altercation at a law office on Fairbanks Avenue, according to the Winter Park Police Department.
Officers said they received a call around 9:26 a.m. about the disturbance at 401 W. Fairbanks Ave. after a physical altercation broke out between two people.
"I don't know as far as the circumstances behind how it started, why or the background of the physical altercation," Sgt. Garvin McComie said.
The suspect, whose name has not been released, was taken into custody a short time later, police said.
Two men were injured in the stabbing, according to police. It's unclear whether the suspect was among the injured.
A witness who works nearby said he saw two men covered in blood.
"The one guy that was lying on the parking lot was completely, like, almost lifeless," Doug Adams said. "The other guy, they had him propped up ... they put him in the ambulance, he was breathing and he seemed to be more lucid and aware of what was going on."
The extent of the victims' injuries is unknown.
Fairbanks Avenue was shut down briefly after the incident, but later reopened, Winter Park police said.
No other details were immediately available.
