Hamid Ould-Rouis accused of stabbing woman

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A man accused of stabbing a woman in Kissimmee was fatally shot by authorities outside a South Florida mosque Friday, according to the Osceola County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said Hamid Ould-Rouis went to a residence on Luminous Loop in Kissimmee around 3:30 a.m. Thursday, battered a man inside and stabbed a woman, who is in critical condition at a local hospital.

A warrant was issued for Ould-Rouis' arrest on an attempted murder charge. U.S. marshals located Ould-Rouis outside Masjid Al-Iman mosque on Franklin Drive in Broward County, deputies said.

"He exited the vehicle brandishing a firearm," said Gadyaces Serralta with the U.S. Marshals Service.

"The task force members opened fire and the subject, unfortunately, is deceased."

Ould Rouis' neighbors told News 6 they had just seen him at his town home on Wednesday.

Court records obtained by News 6 show Ould Rouis got out of the Osceola County Jail five weeks ago.

According to his arrest report, investigators connected him to an incident where boiling oil and a stun gun were used as weapons.

Those charges were later dropped.
