Word of sharks lurking in shallow water off Florida beaches is not what you want to hear if you love swimming in the ocean.
A 13-foot hammerhead shark was seen swimming a few feet away from Navarre Beach in Florida’s panhandle, according to the Navarre Beach Fire Department.

Earlier this week, a News 6 viewer shared video of a 6-foot nurse shark swimming in very shallow water at Canova Beach in Melbourne south of Patrick Air Force Base.
