3 victims taken to ORMC as trauma alerts

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Orange County officials reported three shootings Wednesday night within one hour of each other.

The first shooting was reported at 9:19 p.m. at 18098 Hollister Road. Orange County Fire Rescue officials said a man was shot in the abdomen and taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center as a trauma alert.

The second shooting, which happened at 638 Hummingbird Lane around 9:25 p.m., resulted in a possible 16-year-old being taken to ORMC as a trauma alert, OCFR said.

The third shooting, reported at 9:27 p.m. at 8023 Puffin Drive, sent a possible 18-year-old to ORMC as a trauma alert as well, officials said.

It's unclear if any of the shootings are connected.

No other details were immediately released.
