APOPKA, Fla. - A combined force of Apopka police and Orange County Sheriff's deputies arrested 33 accused drug dealers in a two hour sweep Wednesday.
Police said the arrests are a major step towards making the streets safer for the summer and a strong message to drug dealers—that if they don't know who they're selling to, it might be to the police.
People who live in the areas where the arrests were made, however, said the operation was a waste of time and police should have focused their efforts on solving murder cases.
