LOS ANGELES - U.S. customs and border agents seized 67 live giant snails, at the Los Angeles airport.

The snails came in from Nigeria with paperwork saying, they were for people to eat.

The problem is, this species of snail can be harmful to people and is considered extremely invasive.

Scientists say, the snails will eat anything from fruits and vegetables to even stucco off houses.

The USDA is processing the snails.
