MELBOURNE, Fla. - One of the Brevard County’s most popular fundraisers, Safari Under the Stars, at the Brevard Zoo will be bringing some star studded guests to the party and no, they are not animals.
Australian conservationist and media personality, Bindi Irwin, will be attending the event on Apr. 29 to visit the Zoo’s new exhibit, Lands of Change: Australia and Beyond. Irwin will also be present to speak with the event’s sponsors at the evening gala.
Irwin is the daughter of Steve Irwin, best known as the “Crocodile Hunter,” and the winner of season 21 of “Dancing with the Stars.” The general public has the opportunity to purchase tickets for a presentation hosted by Irwin on Saturday morning.
For the VIP event on Friday night, Bill Klein and Jennifer Arnold of TLC’s “The Little Couple” will be assisting with the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the zoo’s new exhibit called Exceptional Nature Space. The new exhibit will be exclusively for children to explore the many wonders of space. Klein and Arnold will also be participating in Saturday night’s gala.
Safari Under the Stars is a huge party that raises critical funds to support the Brevard Zoo’s missions of animal wellness, education and conservation. The event will be full of themed cocktail parties, food and refreshments, animal encounters, auctions and the Safari After Dark festivities that include dancing, live music by Wonderama Band and a cigar lounge.
The Friday night VIP event and the Saturday night gala will only be open to sponsors. Those interested in sponsorship are encouraged to contact Chris Stagman at 321-254-9453, ext. 485 or email him at email@example.com.
