Maid finds body in Casselberry extended-stay hotel room

No signs of foul play, drug use

CASSELBERRY, Fla. – A housekeeper at a Casselberry hotel found a man's body Tuesday inside one of the rooms, police said.

The woman found the body around 1:30 p.m. at Home Towne Suites on North Oxford Road.

The man was identified Wednesday afternoon as Glenn David Lannan, 54, a Central Florida resident who had been living at the Home Towne Suites since August.

Casselberry police said the hotel employee had cleaned Lannan's room every week since August. 

olice said there were no signs of foul play or any indication that Lannan was using drugs.

An autopsy did not determine Lannan's cause of death, but police said there were no signs of trauma to his body.  

Authorities said a toxicology report will be performed in an attempt to determine Lannan's cause of death.
