Bomb scare evacuates Orlando Walmart

Orange County bomb squad blows package up

ORLANDO, Fla. - A Walmart was evacuated in Orlando late Monday night because of a bomb scare.

A store manager discovered a suspicious device in the parking lot of the Walmart on Colonial Drive near Hiawassee Boulevard and called 911.

Orange County deputies called in the bomb squad and they blew up the package, but they do not believe it was a bomb.

Officials have not said what the device was.
