Bomb squad called to Oak Hill home after man threatens to 'blow up' people

Deputies investigate incident on Beehive Drive in Oak Hill

A bomb squad is called to an Oak Hill home.

OAK HILL, Fla. – The Volusia County Sheriff's Office bomb squad was called to an Oak Hill home Friday after a man threatened to "blow up" people, authorities said.

The bomb squad was called to Beehive Drive in Oak Hill.

Deputies said the man got into an argument with his family members and threatened them. The man apparently lit something in his yard and left, authorities said.  His whereabouts are unknown.

It's not known is anyone was injured.

Sheriff's officials said they were in the process of acquiring a warrant to search the home.

A neighboring house was evacuated as a precaution, officials said.
