Burglar sought after stealing trimmer, chainsaw from home, Marion cops say

BELLEVIEW, Fla. - Marion County deputies are searching for a burglar who stole a trimmer and a chainsaw from a home.

The burglar was caught on surveillance video walking around outside of the home on SE 50th Avenue Road in Belleview on Monday morning.

Investigators said they believe the man cased the place and then came back in a camouflage outfit with towel on his head to steal the chainsaw and trimmer.

"The subject appeared to be of average height, 180 to 200 pounds, wearing a royal blue shirt that appeared to have the image of a fish on the back and light colored blue jeans," said Judge Cochran of Marion County Sheriff's Office.
