California restaurant bans noisy kids

Policy sparks debate

MONTEREY, Calif - A restaurant in California is saying absolutely no when it comes to noisy children, but the move is sparking plenty of debate.

Old Fisherman's Grotto in Monterey has three signs asking parents to leave their noisy children at home.

Some say the rule is unfair, however, the owner says he is getting positive feedback from patrons who say they want peace and quiet during dinner.

The owner also says parents offended with the rule can dine elsewhere.

The policy has been in place for about two years.
