Cheney Mason says Baez stopped representing Anthony

ORLANDO, Fla. – Attorney Jose Baez no longer represents Casey Anthony, according to one of her other lawyers.

Prominent Orlando attorney Cheney Mason, who teamed up with Baez to represent Anthony at her murder trial last year, told "In Session" on Thursday that Baez stopped working for Anthony the day she was sentenced.

Anthony was acquitted of murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee, but she was found guilty of lying to law enforcement officers.

Mason said he and Lisabeth Fryer are representing Anthony in her appeal.

Anthony is currently serving probation in Florida, possibly at a Palm City church, on check fraud charges.
