ORLANDO, Fla. - Former Florida governor Charlie Crist has been making headlines with his new book.

The book, titled "The Party's Over: How the Extreme Right Hijacked the GOP and I Became a Democrat," is a memoir from Crist. He is again running for Florida governor, a position he held from 2007 to 2011, and is on the offensive against potential opponent, and current Florida governor, Rick Scott.

A poll conducted by Gravis Marketing out of Winter Springs has Crist with a slight lead over Scott in a pool of about 800 Florida voters. The poll showed that 47 percent of voters favor Crist in the election, while 44 percent support Scott.

The poll also found that 57 percent of voters support the legalization of medical marijuana in Florida, which is a hot topic that will likely play a big role in the governor's race.
