Cocoa residents fed up with cats after woman run over during attack

Car left in reverse, rolled over woman during cat attack

COCOA, Fla. – Residents in a Cocoa neighborhood are worried about roaming cats after a woman was attacked nearly two weeks ago.

Tatianna Brown said her mother was run over by her own car while trying to get away from the cat along Magnolia Court.

Brown said her mother remains hospitalized with broken ribs and a broken pelvis.

Neighbors said they want something done about the cat problem.

"My car is scratched up from bumper to bumper from those cats," Norman Scott said. "They come over here, they come in my yard and they scratch and poop in my yard."

Brown told News 6 that she believes the cats keep coming back because someone is feeding them.
