Cold front brings rain to Central Florida

Temperatures to dip into 40s in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. - A new cold front is bringing more rain to Central Florida and dropping temperatures.

Rain chances across the region will be at 50 percent on Thursday, and the high will reach 66 degrees in Orlando.

The low will drop into the upper 40s.

"On Friday the rebound will begin," Local 6 meteorologist Tom Sorrells said. "We bounce to a high of 71."

The next chance of rain in Central Florida is Tuesday.

High temperatures over the weekend will be near 80 degrees in Orlando.
