Family of Martin Martinez seek public's help in solving crime

ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando police have released new details, including a composite sketch, in a home invasion that left a 28-year-old man dead.

Martin Martinez, of Miami, was shot and killed Jan. 17 in the Northbridge Apartments on Eastbrook Woods Drive near the Mall at Millenia in Orlando.  His girlfriend was also shot in the incident but survived.

Martinez's family will meet with Orlando police on Friday and ask the public for help in finding the assailant.

Investigators say the gunman is a dark-skinned man in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall with some facial hair.  He was wearing a dark-colored bubble jacket, a navy blue skull cap and Timerbland boots.

Also, police said there searching for a white Ford Taurus that was used as a getaway car.
