DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Volusia County deputies have arrested a man who they say grabbed a teen's hair and slammed her head against the wall in a fight over her cellphone.

Louis Bray has been charged with child abuse with great harm in the fight with the girl, only identified as a 15-year-old. The victim told deputies she was fighting with Bray over her phone when he grabbed her phone from her hand. The victim took the phone back, saying Bray grabbed her and the two began wrestling, according to the report.

Bray then threw the victim's head against the wall, according the report. The victim hit Bray in the face to break free, resulting in Bray throwing the phone at her.

Bray told deputies they got into a fight over two boys and her phone. He said he held the victim to the ground to calm her down. He was taken to Halifax Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.

It's not clear what the relation between Bray and the victim was. The Department of Children and Families is investigating.
