Crews search new areas for missing mom

ORLANDO, Fla. - Authorities are still searching for a missing mother who has not been seen since last week.

Michelle Parker, 33, disappeared in Orange County on Thursday.

Several search crews went out on ATVs on Monday to search for Parker in an area in east Orange County. Other searchers on foot handed out flyers.

Police said thanks to media coverage, they are getting a lot of tips about Parker.

Parker's mother, Yvonne Stewart, said Monday that although she feared the worst at first, she has a renewed optimism that he daughter is safe.

Crews have already searched an area near the Jesse Black Saloon on Oak Ridge Road, and another group also traveled to the Walden Palms condos on Vineland Road, which is where Parker's Hummer was recovered by police

Orlando police said Parker has a violent history with her ex-boyfriend, Dale Smith. He has not been named as a suspect. Smith's father said he was home when she went missing and police said he has cooperated fully with the investigation.

Police said they have dedicated as many as 16 officers to the case.

Parker was last seen around 2:30 p.m. Thursday by friends. She is the mother to an 11-year-old and younger twins.

Parker appeared Thursday on an episode of "The People's Court" with her ex-boyfriend.  It's not known when the show was recorded.

Parker was described as a white woman, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with short dark brown hair.
